Welcome to myxtape.io ("myxtape", "we", "us", "the platform"). By creating an account or using myxtape.io in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

These terms are a binding agreement between you and the operators of myxtape.io. We reserve the right to update them at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use myxtape.io. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you are not permitted to use the platform.

Accounts are subject to manual review and approval before activation. We reserve the right to approve or deny any registration at our sole discretion, without explanation.

2. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited on myxtape.io and will result in immediate removal and account termination:

✕ Illegal material — content that violates local, national, or international law, including but not limited to: content that facilitates crimes, pirated material, content that constitutes fraud, or material related to illegal weapons or substances.
✕ Extremist or terrorist content — material promoting, glorifying, or recruiting for violent extremist groups, hate movements, or acts of mass violence.
✕ Doxxing — publishing private personal information (home addresses, phone numbers, workplace details, etc.) of any individual without their explicit consent.

! Extremely explicit sexual content — hardcore pornographic audio is not permitted on myxtape.io. Adult or sexually suggestive content that is not graphic must be tagged with a Content Warning. We are not an adult platform.
! Hate speech — content that attacks or dehumanizes people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
! Harassment and targeted abuse — content specifically designed to intimidate, harass, or harm a specific individual.
! Graphic descriptions of self-harm or suicide — content that provides detailed instruction or glorification of self-harm. Content that discusses these topics thoughtfully must carry a Content Warning.
! Spam or coordinated inauthentic behavior — automated accounts, bulk posting, or coordinated efforts to game platform visibility.

3. Content Moderation & Removal

We reserve the absolute right to remove any content, at any time, for any reason, without notice or explanation. This includes broadcasts, ReMYxes, comments, feeds, station profiles, and any other content posted to the platform.

We reserve the absolute right to suspend or permanently ban any account, at any time, for any reason, without notice or explanation. A ban may be issued for violation of these terms, behavior that we determine to be harmful to the community, or at our sole discretion.

Moderation decisions are final. We do not have a formal appeals process, though you may contact us. We are a small platform run by humans and we will try to be fair — but we will always prioritize the safety and wellbeing of our community.

4. Your Content & Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all audio, images, and text you upload to myxtape.io. By uploading content, you grant myxtape.io a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content on the platform for the purpose of operating the service.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the rights to all content you upload — including music, samples, field recordings, voice recordings, and any other audio material. This means:

Do not upload recordings that contain commercially released music you do not own or hold a license to distribute.
Do not upload pirated audio, bootlegs, or rips of other artists' releases without their explicit permission.
Do not upload audio that samples copyrighted recordings without appropriate clearance.
Mixtapes, DJ sets, and podcasts that include unlicensed copyrighted music are not permitted.
Original works, spoken word, field recordings, licensed music, and Creative Commons material are welcome.

Content review: All broadcasts are reviewed by a moderator before they go public. This allows us to catch copyright issues before they become a problem. You will receive an email when your broadcast is approved or if it cannot be published, along with any feedback.

DMCA / Copyright takedowns: We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content on the platform infringes your copyright, send a takedown notice to with the following information:

Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
The URL or other location of the infringing content on myxtape.io.
A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
Your physical or electronic signature.

Repeat infringers will have their accounts permanently terminated. Filing a false DMCA notice may expose you to liability under applicable law.

5. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

Each person may maintain one account. Creating multiple accounts to evade a ban is a violation of these terms and will result in all associated accounts being permanently banned.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

myxtape.io is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantee of uptime, data preservation, or uninterrupted service. We may suspend, modify, or discontinue the platform at any time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, myxtape.io and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the platform.
